Sean Kilbride Biography

"If anyone told me when I was a kid that I would get to jam 'Smoke On The Water' with Ian Gillan, Kim Mitchell and Peter Fredette, back up Brian May on 'Bohemian Rhapsody', perform for Robbie Robertson at Canada's Walk Of Fame or play at The Budokan in Tokyo with Haywire, I wouldn't have bought it."

Sean’s credits include being a former member of the Kim Mitchell Band as well as working with Alannah Myles, Sass Jordan, Jimmy Rankin, Moe Berg and touring and recording with Juno Award winner Derek Miller. He has also performed with Tom Cochrane, Sarah Harmer and Louise Pitre among others.

He became involved in musical theatre with the original Toronto production of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. He is the principal drummer for the Canadian production of the hit Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY. Other theatre credits include IN DREAMS, ROCK OF AGES, THE TOXIC AVENGER, OH CANADA - WHAT A FEELING!, and TAPESTRY - A TRIBUTE TO CAROLE KING. He was also picked by Brian May and Roger Taylor for the Queen musical WE WILL ROCK YOU.

The formative years were spent with Haywire. (www.youtube.com/HaywireTV) They released four records, with multi-platinum success, filmed nine videos, and toured relentlessly.

Currently, Sean is the drummer for the new Toronto production of IN DREAMS. He also plays with The Test Icicles (www.thetesticicles.com) as well as doing sessions at his own drum studio.
